School Advisory Council

The Catholic School Advisory Council (CSAC) provides parents and community members with structured ways to support the Principal and school leadership team. They offer a local and contextual advisory function for all Principals, enabling the expertise and skills of members to be included in the school decision-making processes. The Council supports the Principal to fulfil their responsibilities in leading the Catholic Identity, Education, Community and Stewardship functions of the school.

The Council is comprised of the Principal, the Parish Priest and between four and six elected members with skills and experience relevant to the needs of the school community. A representative from the Parents’ Association is also invited to attend meetings.
