Application Process

Applications are open for enrolments from Pre-Kindy to Year Six.

To apply for admission to Aranmore Catholic Primary School please download the ‘Application for Admission’ package. An application form needs to be completed for each child seeking a place at the school.

Please forward the completed application package to the school with copies of the following required documents:

  1. Birth Certificate
  2. Australian Immunisations Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement
  3. Baptism Certificate (if applicable)
  4. Australian Citizenship Certificate (if born outside Australia)
  5. Passport (if born outside Australia)
  6. Visa (if born outside Australia)
  7. Any current restraining orders or custody orders (if applicable)

A non-refundable application fee of $50.00 per student is required upon application.

Enrolment interviews are conducted by the Principal and all children seeking a place at Aranmore Catholic Primary School are asked to attend the interview with their parents or guardians. Following this interview an ‘Offer of Enrolment’ may be made to your child. If this offer is accepted by you, a non-refundable payment of $100 per child will be required. This payment will then be credited to your first fee statement.

How do I apply?

Download the ‘Application for Admission’ package from the ‘Enrolment’ tab on our website or visit our friendly staff in the Administration Office. Submit the completed application with all required documentation and the application fee either at the Administration Office, by post or by email.

What is the Enrolment Process?

When an application is received, an acknowledgement letter will be emailed to parents and guardians. If a position is available in the required year level, families will be invited to an interview.

Enrolment interviews are conducted by the Principal and all children seeking a place at Aranmore Catholic Primary School are asked to attend the interview with their parents or guardians. Interviews are part of the enrolment process and are not an indication that an application has been successful.

Following this interview an ‘Offer of Enrolment’ may be made for your child. Enrolments are prioritised in accordance with CEWA’s Enrolment Priorities. Click here to view this policy. If this offer is accepted by you, a non-refundable payment of $100 per child will be required. This payment will then be credited to your first fee statement. Signature(s) on the above forms are taken as acceptance of school policy, regulations, payment of fees and parental involvement.

When do I need to apply?

The school accepts applications at any time throughout the year.

What are the fees?

School fees are set with guidance from Catholic Education Western Australia and are endorsed by our School Advisory Council. The current School Fee Schedule can be found under the ‘Enrolment’ tab on our website.

What is the process when an application is on the waitlist?

If a year group has no current places available and an application form is submitted, the application is added to the waitlist for the relevant year group. Waitlisted applications are prioritised in accordance with CEWA’s Enrolment Priorities. Click here to view this policy. If a place becomes available and can be offered, you will be contacted by phone.

Applications remain on the waitlist until a vacancy arises.

Does the School offer a sibling discount?

Yes. This is applied to tuition fees only.

When are the School Tours?

School tours are scheduled each term. If it is not suitable to attend one of these group tours, you may request a personalised tour using the request form on our website or by calling the Administration Office.

My child is not Catholic. Can we still attend Aranmore Catholic Primary School?

Yes. Enrolments are prioritised in accordance with CEWA’s Enrolment Priorities. Click here to view this policy. If there is a vacancy with no Catholic students on the waitlist, then applicants from other Christian denominations and non-Catholics will be considered for an interview.
