Keep Calm and Love Netball

Well it was a pretty wet and windy weekend. The year 3 girls played on Friday afternoon so got their game in before the storms … unfortunately for the older girls netball on Saturday was cancelled. It was simply too dangerous in the conditions to play netball. Hopefully all of you got the notifications before heading to Matthews on Saturday.

Training will be back to normal this week after the pupil free day. Good luck – and have fun.

Aranmore Navy Blue

The Navy Blues year 3 team had another great game. We played Dalkeith primary school – unfortunately we didn’t win this week but definitely looking much improved, learning to spread out and learn the rules. The final score was 7-3.
A special mention to Maiah and Liyan on their amazing defence.

The girls worked really hard to secure a 2 – 0 win against Floreat. The girls worked the ball up and down the court beautifully and created a large number of turn overs due to great defending and awesome intercepts. A huge congratulations to Jasmine Farnan, our star of the week, who was everywhere! Her ability to read the play is amazing, she is truly a pocket rocket! Keep it up girls, your positivity and enthusiasm is infectious
